Worcester Cathedral Crop

Worcester Cathedral, the iconic building of Worcester which was founded in 680 AD.
Coloured using Photoshop and Wacom graphics tablet.

I wanted to work on my perspective drawing, so I decided to draw a low angled shot of a church.

Church Colour

An experiment with colour, texture and composition. My goal was to achieve a dramatic and atmospheric feel colour scheme and final image. This piece was inspired by the Malvern Priory.

Storm On The Horizon

Looking out towards the sky from the Malvern Hills on the 30/09/09 at 6:15pm.

It was this dark but the clouds I really thought there was a storm on the way.

My camera isn't capable of taking really wide shots, so I had to take 5 photos just to capture it all. Using my wacom graphics tablet to paint in some of the clouds and some of the lighting on Photoshop CS.

Worcestershire New Road

Worcestershire vs Hampshire - New Road - Pro 40 - 31/08/09

Similar with the Malvern Hills piece I uploaded, this was produced using 5 photos blended together side by side using Photoshop. The original photo used a dull sky and colour setting, so I experimented with Photoshop's features and digital painting with a Wacom Graphics Tablet.

Quick Update

Just a quick update on where I am with things. I'm still involved working on the superhero manga graphic novel project and about 3/4 of the way finished. The work will be then sent to the colourist, never had anyone colour my black and white artwork before, so I am looking forward to see how that turns out. When I'm finished with the project I will upload some of my favourite pages.
I am also working on a drawing landscape based on a building I come across on a walk in Malvern. So far this is about 1/2 drawn. I'm working on a Worcestershire Cricket New Road photo manipulation landscape which I am using similar techniques to the Malvern Hills piece I uploaded not so long ago. This is nearly complete so expect it within a few days.

This guy would like for you to take a look at his gallery and leave any tips for him to work improvements.
